From our quiet house, away from main streets we can still hear constant traffic (window open) and many siren's. so I'd take my chances on you getting here... Let alone whoopin' ma ass!

Has anyone sent him a link to Norman's blog?

Innocently... "Is this the same chassis?"

I recently sold our motorhome then got tipped off it was on gumtree for half price

It was a fraudulent advert

The correct way to report it is to the police at action fraud

Call or email they are trying to clamp down on this

OK, I reported it to Action Fraud.

I was going to give up at page 99 but carried on regardless to the end.

I'm exhausted now and need to lie down.

There's a long thread on PistonHeads about flogging V5's for ringing.  BiBs on there suggested that the best route would usually be via the Police's Vehicle Crime Intelligence Unit:  vehiclefraud@avcis.pnn.police.uk, which does seem to result in action being taken.

With this fellow being out of the country I doubt much can be done directly but, were it on their radar, one would hope that anyone in the UK subsequently trying to change V5 details would be asked a few questions.

In case anyone ever does a search, the "car" in question is on V5 serial number: AT 0422089

VIN/Chassis number is SA9WSIWI71X039106

You could put an ebay advert on with pictures of the chassis same title etc for 1 euro, so people who search will see your advert aswell, then just say the advert is for information about your chassis in your barn, ebay may then contact you and so may others considering the purchase of the chassis!

But you may not be bothered!

Worth a thought

Cheers Andy, that's saved for the future.

Did eBay or the seller remove it?
