Wanted to paint my garage floor as I built it last year and is just bare concrete and keeps dusting. Anyone got any recommendations?

Primed the floor with a pva solution then used floor paint (light grey so I could see washers/bolts that had dropped) when I did mine about 10 years ago, still good a few bald spots but thats all.

Word of warning despite having the double door open I still felt as if I had smoked a few joints when I had finished.

And what would that feel like then ?

Would not recommend Johnsons floor paint as where the wheels sit the paint has come up. Apart from that better then the dust.

Going to scrape all the paint up at some point and tiling the whole garage floor.

My garage floor needs re-painting. But I'm moving in next six months or so...

I'm going to buy carpet and just chuck it in there!

You need to paint the ceiling and walls as well.

Carpet tiles in mine! Old ones from an office refurb so cost nothing to!

Swarf does stick to it as mentioned above and you look a bit odd hoovering the garage but apart from that it's great.

Don't get that garage floor paint from b&q. I pva'd my floor and gave it 2 coats and 2 years later it comes off in big flakes just with the Hoover.

Carpet tiles!!! Cracking idea!

Swarf, damage, burn, tea, paint... Etc. just take it out and switch it for a spare!

A box of 64 25cm x 25cm tiles is £10... Time to measure up and work out if this is a good plan... Many other tiles, why I need to work out what size I need.
