chrisw_82
Slaidburn Rd, Clitheroe, Lancashire BB7, UK http://goo.gl/maps/YHq5o Driven this, north of Waddington. Maybe not for this group run Smeg, but if you are out that way again you can join that road into one of my favourite runs ever! http://goo.gl/maps/J0ALi The road out of Dunsop Bidge to Dolphinholme is a superb mix; there are 4 or 5 tight switchbacks, narrow bits, hills (Quite similar to the Rivington run in places) and lots of wide open flat-out bits past Jubilee Tower at Quernmore. It's always very quiet, even this sunny Sunday just gone there were only a few bikers (and a stray half-bale of hay in the road!) The bit at the end comes out behind Lancaster Uni for the M6. It's dead straight with some 'interesting' hills - I'm sure you could get airborne there if you wanted to!
Onliest Smeg David
I know it - but not in the Westie yet! There's an excellent buttie van on the bit between Hareden and Sykes at the weekends.
