Slicks or road tyres?

windy

Recommended Posts

Assuming we have a new class introduced for stickier road legal tyres (list 1B) I'd be interested to know what everyone else is thinking of doing next year. I'm hoping to compete in a well populated class, not one that's low on numbers, so the competition remains close.

Anybody decided yet on whether to go in the slick shod class, a list 1A tyre class or a list 1B tyre class (aeroscreens, sequential boxes etc)?

I know nothing has been finalised yet but you all must have a few ideas / plans?

Regards

Windy

I know I'm only a low powered X-flow powered unit thing but I'm sticking with 1A tyres and novic class.

The Escort could be a different matter  :D  :D

"Competition for Windy"

I've just been thrashed by the "Welsh git", 2 "brummies" and "Tim Birkin Bentley Boy" at Loton today so I now know what it feels like to lose.

List 1A it will remain then! :D

Sorry Mark!

Is it similar to comparing people who speak the Queens English and what Posh people say?

Whats this "Black country"? Did it gets its name from soot or something?

Please educate me I'm just a commoner :durr:

Errr, I'll be hillclimbing/sprinting in a 'recently acquired' DJ-ADS1 single seater with Suzuki GSXR1100 power so the Westfield will probably have to go to finance it  :t-up:

First try is at Shelsley Walsh next weekend  ;)  :D  :p
