s2rrr Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 Matt & Doug, Thanks for that advice, missed it when you first posted. Must look into those inserts, I did get some spray stuff and it seems to be better but just as an absolute novice making the proverbial c*ck up and fully misting up it wasn't very helpful to my confidence levels. Thanks again Bob Quote
TAFKARM Posted March 10, 2013 Author Posted March 10, 2013 No worries Matt..it was red flag after red flag after red flag.... If I wasn't in the car,I was probably upstairs having a brew, too cold to hang around the pits! Kirky - unable to select gear, as tempted to go back in the primera but I reckon they'll call time in it at 4 Quote
Graham0127 Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 Sorry to hear your day didn`t come to much.Hope you get problems sorted for when the good weather arrives....Didn`t even get mine out of the garage...AGAIN.... Quote
matt nossiter Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 What did you think to the track Russ ? Quote
TAFKARM Posted March 10, 2013 Author Posted March 10, 2013 I'd like to try it again in the dry without all the stoppages tbh. It's a quick circuit but the weather meant I couldn't get the grip to carry any speed! Quote

Think it would be different on a dry day plus more interesting, one for another day Quote
s2rrr Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 Better luck next time it will get better and faster when it gets warmer but unfortunately more expensive. Bob Quote

pickmaster Andy Lowe Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 Try a tiny drop of washing up liquid on the inside of your visor Tiny tiny drop on tissue on then wipe it off, so you can't see it Old biker trick No misting on your visor Quote
