EBC Green Stuff front pads, M16, £free
Dave (OnliestSmeg) - Manchester AO posted a topic in Parts for Sale
I've replaced my brake pads all round, the rear were of unknown cheap brand and completely worn. However the front M16s which are EBC Green Stuff still have 7-8mm left on them. I believe they were put on the car just before I bought it, so roughly 5000 miles. New they're nearing £40, they need a clean up (usual brake dust etc) So... £10 plus transfer We can arrange exchange personally in't'North West, or by WSCC courier via any of the North West meets or I will be at Anglesey 30th-1st. PM me if you'd like them. -
Anyone know what pads and disc are fitted to the rear of a Westfield with Hi-Spec 2 pot callipers that have the handbrake incorporated - ideally with the standard car they're fitted to so I can get then from ECP? Going to Ireland on Friday and found that the inside of the discs are heavily corroded - looks like the pads have been binding on the dowels. Thanks in advance

Help identifying Calipers for replacement pads, Please
Dave (OnliestSmeg) - Manchester AO posted a topic in Tech Talk
I am coming up to a brake pad replacement (quicker than expected with this brill weather ) and I am struggling to identify the calipers and hence part numbers for my pads. My searches web have just confused me! I currently have Green Stuff on the front and unknown on the back. I'm upgrading to Mintex 1144 after studying discussions on other threads, I'm mainly road use with potentially a few track days/sprints. I need something that works straight out the garage all year round. The front right caliper has - 25 64326047 32.99 CL6 stamped on it Rear having - CN2 A123 065877 (alt -
Continuing my theme of having enthusiasm but not that much actual mechanical talent, Im picking things up as I go along. Changing the pads all round. Ive done the fronts with minimal fuss and was very proud of myself. Now I've never changed rear pads before so forgive me. Ive got the caliper off and the old pads out. It looks like its a wind back type so Ive used my caliper wind back tool to no effect. I can't get the piston to budge! I haven't disconnected the handbrake cable. Is this why it won't go back, and if so....how do I disconnect the handbrake? Cheers!
