Warwickshire Area Curborough Track Day 2 22nd September 2017

Hi, As usual I've booked two days at the Curborough Track. This post is about the second event of the year on Friday 22nd September 2017. ** To save the WSCC from any liability issues I have to let you know that the Curborough Track days ( As for the last 13 years ) have been booked by me ( or the previous Area Organisers ) and are not organised or sanctioned by the Westfield Car Club. ** There will be a £30 Deposit ( Non Refundable ). The remainder then will be paid on the day depending on the number of people attending ( with a maximum of 15 people ): Attending 15 people – £23 to pay on the day Attending 14 people – £27 to pay on the day Attending 13 people – £31 to pay on the day Attending 12 people – £35 to pay on the day Attending 11 people – £41 to pay on the day Attending 10 people - £45 to pay on the day Attending 9 people - £52 to pay on the day Attending 8 people - £62 to pay on the day I don't make a profit on these events and if there is any left over it will be given to the Local Hospice Charity. Warwickshire Area WSCC Members will get 1st Priority Non-Warwickshire Area WSCC Members will get 2nd Priority Non-WSCC Members will get 3rd Priority Both of the Track Days are usually over subscribed so if you are interested in attending please get in touch ASAP ( You will need to pay your deposit to secure your place ). These are always a great day and a safer way to explore the limits of the car / driver going round the circuit one at a time. We currently hold the meeting on the 3rd Thursday of every month at the Falcon Inn in Hatton. With people starting to turn up from around 19:30. Cotswold Area July Meeting & Treasure Hunt

Folks, This months Cotswold Area monthly meeting Thursday 30th July will incorporate a Treasure Hunt, billed as "Mr Varey's own Treasure Hunt". Start time 7.30pm from the Golden Heart Inn, Nettleton Bottom, Birdlip, Gloucestershire, GL4 8LA. Treasure hunt duration about one hour, modest entry fee, three treasure clues to find then finish at the pub for prize giving followed by usual club business meeting. I want to make a go of this AO malarky but need your input to make it work. For your diaries: 1st July – Meet up with Essex Area nr M11 and go for a run into Essex. See WSCC forums for the latest. 18th July from 19:00 – Area meet at The Ace Café (www.ace-cafe-london.com) 29th July – Short run and visit to de Havilland Museum (www.dehavillandmuseum.co.uk). See WSCC forums for the latest. 18th August - Kit Car Special at the Ace Café. See Post for details 19th August – Run to Brooklands with the Cambs Area (www.brooklandsmuseum.com). See WSCC forums for the latest. TBC Run and meet at RAF Museum Hendon... TBC Run to IOW... Membership: I have had a couple of responses to my initial email, I assume you are all still happy to be kept informed in this way. Please do let me know your preferences. I’d also like to know if I’ve missed anyone from the WSCC or if any of you need any membership help, forum help, etc. Please shout – it’s my job to help and organise Future Events Ideas: If I had the numbers, I’d arrange events specific to our local area or at least organise a suitable meeting point before a run elsewhere, so please do let me know if you have any ideas for runs, visits, build/fix mornings, anything. For example, I need an aero-screen fitting so would happily accommodate a bunch of us round at mine, tea and toast provided, beers afterwards. I also have a digital dash I want fitted, again any experience here would be appreciated. I am in Barnet by the way… I’ve always fancied a run to the Isle of Wight, any one fancy that this year? The North Weald Activity day was a success, don’t know if we can block book Westies only but if you guys let me know I will do what I can to make a day of it for us. Please do also let me know what other Area meets you regularly attend or would like to attend.
