Just in case there are any doubters out there- I am still alive, I still have the car, it's still fantastic fun and it still makes me grin stupidly. Even better, my youngest (6) thinks it is better than Alton Towers. "How quickly does the red stick (odo needle) get to 60?" Was today's question. The answer was lost in cackling and shouts of 'make it go faster'!11 points

Good day out at Croft on Monday. Looked dodgy driving there with the mist and drizzle, but despite a pretty slippery start the circuit dried out nicely. We've also finally got a handle on the cooling - the car stayed within bounds all day, without any coddling or slow laps to cool. Really pleased! Nice to see another Westfield on track too - a red Zetec. Forgot to ask the driver if he was a club member!7 points

Hello I'm luke rom north Wales a new member just acquired my first Westfield this week, must say i love it not surer why i haven't had one sooner after owning a variety of cars, i have joined the forum to gather as much information as possible as i don't know an awful lot. the car is a 2001 seiw in green has a red top engine and it goes really well i don't know to much regarding the engine itself i was told its had a fresh build a couple years ago with pistons etc.. and been told it has uprated cams but not sure as he didn't know and no receipts. i look forward to learning about the car and getting out in it next summer its a bad time to get one coming into winter but I'm very impulsive and once ide seen it had to have it6 points

Thrills, heritage, and innovation meet on track. We @Hedley Bennett (HB46443) - Club Chairman , @Rob Hunter - Club Secretary & the brand-new Westfield Se.NA R-T at Bicester Heritage for its first public test session, An exclusive opportunity to experience the next chapter of Westfield performance. Back-to-back drives with the legendary SeiW Zetec reminded us just how far weβve come, while a sneak peek at the upcoming Westfield XV showcased where weβre headed. From the XI that started it all in 1982 to the cutting-edge Se.NA, the spirit of Westfield engineering lives on, faster, sharper, and more refined than ever. I didn't take to many images myself, the occasion was like being in a sweet shop! Big thanks to @Westfield Chesil Limited. Look out for the Magazine articles from the press.4 points

@Nigel Trilk - Westfield Sportcars Ltd The new cars are looking really excellent and a very sensible progression from the prior models - it's wonderful to see you guys able to promote them publicly at last - good luck with the sales, keeping everything crossed for you! Mike4 points

Edit! Skim reading failβ¦ (oops) the same thing happens on my desktop browser (Safari on a mac) and iPhone (DuckDuckGo). So it looks like itβs a problem with the last forum software update and this out of my control until they release a patch. Iβm guessing they used to set a cookie to save the setting but maybe thatβs no longer being stored. I will look on the invision forum to see what they say (later)3 points

Or directly from the source in China: https://tinyurl.com/b4hb5rzt Just a heads-up β if you order the white one, youβll get a white T-shirt with a white drawing on it π Also, make sure to order 1β2 sizes larger than youβd normally wear!2 points

It came from a company called Redbubble. https://www.redbubble.com/shop/caterham2 points

I didnβt fit mine but I have removed it which seemed pretty easy. Iβm sure others will come along who have fitted one and confirm either way. Either way Iβve attached Racelineβs instructions for you. It might be worth taking a look at BLiNK Motorsports instructions too (attached) and decide whether you want to run a header tank or expansion tank should you decide to fit a water rail. Instruct - Water Rail Fitting 2.doc Raceline WaterRail (BLiNK Logo).pdf The coolant temperature sensor fits on the back of the head in the rail. The rail comes with a couple of 1/8β NPT tapped holes for this purpose.2 points

Well Charlie, I'm using the Blacktop cam cover disguised as a Lotus Twincam cover. The smoother cover of the blacktop lends itself better to this than the heavily profiled Silvertop. Simple as that really !!2 points

A little bit of miscommunication meant that we didn't meet up with Tim for the drive up to GBS, but we met there instead. Both Tim Lawton and Andrew Clarke had to leave early due to other commitments, so that left us and my friend Mark to head to the cafe for lunch. After an excellent lunch, Mark made his own way home in his BMW, whilst we headed out to the 'On Freedom's Wings', Lancaster memorial just off the A46. We took some pics from the viewing point in the nearby road. It looked fantastic in the sunshine!2 points

This morning I drove the A714 from Newton Stewart to Girvin. Unfortunately not in my Westfield. But what a fantastic road. 20 miles of twisty road with perfect tarmac and nothing else on the road at 930 on a Monday morning. Oh and the views aren't bad either ! If you visiting the Galloway Forrest or close by, it's a fab run1 point

Yes I second (or third) the congratulations! Its great to see Westfield back on the scene again and with very exciting new cars. Well done Nigel and team - exciting times ahead.1 point

I'm sure everyone on here is rooting for you guys Nigel! I've yet to see the new Se.Na but am really looking forward to it, I would imagine the new Prodev engine is pretty awesome!1 point

Yeah there are some great roads down in that neck of the woods. The A712 through the New Galloway Forest is a favourite and usually pretty quite too, though it's well known biker road too.1 point

I'm pretty sure it's the factory's ex-SwiftTune car. Lovely thing, but nothing to do with the XV.1 point

Sounds like like a right nause. It always amazes me, we live in the country which has arguably the most kit cars in the world, but has some of the worst roads, worst traffic, worst weather and most anti car government and rules anywhere in the world! We must be nuts! π1 point

My last 'toy' was a V8 Land Rover with the usual incontinence issues (desert patrol replica)... so I'm well used to the familiar whiff of oil, petrol and exhaust fumesπ I'm currently looking at ramp options... again, that wasn't such an issue for the Land Rover1 point

For ages I have been looking for a way of storing tools, tyreweld, compressor, scissor jack, spare throttle cables, etc. in the FW boot so the collection of seemingly random items I carry don't slosh around.... I also wanted the ability to easily take things out when I'm at trackdays. After a few pointless purchases that didn't do the job, I stumbled across some cheap bags when buying some DIY stuff from my local Toolstation. Thankfully in real life they are actually black rather then green! The 450mm slots in nicely (if you don't have it too full) in the smaller lower portion of the boot, and the 750mm sits above it below the lid. You could probably use two 750's if you felt really flush and wanted to spend the extra two hundred pence. The 750mm even accommodated the large PX600 airbox I used for trackday noise reduction. They aren't the last word in quality, but its a "first world problem" solved for just 12 quid! My Scottish genes are very satisfied π1 point
