What we will see when this is over is a whole lot of research to see what was actually necessary and worked and what wasn't. The reason is that if we look at this in the cold light of day how many more of these virus will we have to deal with, natural or man made as the world get smaller and travel easier to far flung regions.
The wearing of masks and a certain amount of distance especially out doors may not be found to be effective and again the advice is silly. Wear a mask, unless you are a child under 16 or you have a medical exemption because those people cannot pass on the virus? It is this sort of thing that casts confusion with the public, if it is needed everyone wears one it is not that hard really is it?
On top of that when you have celebrity dimwits claiming this is a hoax or an attempt to control us by Bill Gates or caused by 5G using social media to great affect the hard of thinking swallow the rantings of these idiots as having some validity.
I agree with Paul walking is now even more difficult, you have people who literally dive off the footpath to avoid you and others who do not even try to make any space.
We need the vaccine and I for one will happily take it and accept that no vaccine is 100% safe, but for us oldies dying isn't safe either.
