I spent a few days in late May/June in the Norwegian fjords on this:

Hut 8 booked, 4 huts remaining. 256 sleeps to go and now after nearly 7 years and 2 cracked sumps, my Westy at last has a shortened sump fitted

The point is that copies ( if they do exist) by thier very nature are designed to be convincing. So unless every scrutineers has recieved training on each manufacturers devices in how to spot a fake, then the turning up at a meeting with one will no doubt be issued with a sticker to say it's ok. So therefore a waste of time.

Redtop clearout: I have lots of standard redtop 20XE and C20XE engine parts for sale, slowly sifting through all the bits I have and will post pictures up when I have got it all sorted out. If any members want anything in particular let me know otherwise its all going on the usual auction site: So far I have (all standard parts): Cams - various Sets of rods and pistons, some with arp rod bolts, some with standard bolts standard cam pulleys Sets of exhaust valves sets of inlet valves sets of valve springs crank pulleys (TV dampers) poly vee belt type and early single V belt oil dipstick tubes camshaft covers (some modded with cover lip removed) spark plug lead cover, there's at least one (plastic light weight vauxhall type) thermostat housing with thermostats (various temps) some include the sensors crankshaft sensors - the genuine OE Bosch ones cam drive steel back covers cam drive front aluminium covers Mounting posts for the cam drive covers + lots of other bits still to find Ping me a message if you want anything Graham

All Gates belt in the after market come via the company I work for. As you have been informed give any good local motor factor that number and if they do not have it in stock, which is possible, we stock these. Always insist on a Gates belt IMHO but Conti and Dayco are excellent OE suppliers and supply quality parts They will try to sell you the full kit but the belt is available singularly.

Cirencester to my parents is sortable, as that's where I'm now based. I'm sure between us and Paul we can get it all down!

I am at Anglesey this weekend and would have room to get some things back to Cirencester but not all the way to Reading.

I managed a great day out today. Fantastic weather and still surprisingly warm. A rare chance just to get out on my own and I managed just short of 100 miles. Headed to the North Cornish coast and stopped at Widemouth bay for lunch. then on the coast road to Crackington Haven and a stop on the cliff top then on to Boscastle, Tintagel and the B road blast back to home. All cleaned and ready for the next run out. So far since September I’ve managed 800 miles which I think is great for this time of year. No plans to SORN it yet!

Go to Parkers in Melton give them the numbers off the belt, details off the engine etc sorted...

I got a set of the Demon Graphic ones and they've been great ... haven't faded or fallen off so well worth the money.
