iOS 26…. Is it worth doing?
Ian Kinder (Bagpuss) - Joint Peak District AO replied to Greenstreak-Andy D's topic in Stuff & Nonsense
Working fine on my 13 for several months. I switched off all the 'glass' effects and my battery usage was quite high for a few days then it settled down. The call filtering function is worth using. -

I’m on 26 and it seems fine. iPhone 16 pro max with 256gb so might be due to phone specs?
-
VDO water Temp gauge and oil pressure gauge in good condition. They just need sensors of engine etc £30 for the pair plus P&P (estimate £6)

I’m curious as I have heard negative feedback on the latest iOS 26 …. Just slowing phone with yet more heavy OS. Currently on iOS 18.6 I’m sure it has a ton of new features, where 95% I will never need? Anyone downgrading to iOS 18 from iOS 26? my phone is iPhone 15 pro about 18months old Interested in your thoughts all Andy

I made my own many years ago using m12 threaded rod and spacers. I stripped the thread🙄 As others have said it takes quite a lot of force to shift them. -

I remember years ago, the first year that Toblerone did the really massive bars for Christmas (about a yard long and 10lb in weight) I bought one for the wife. I wrapped it up and put it under the tree, a parcel really obviously Toblerone shaped. She went around for weeks saying to people "I don't know what David's bought me. It's like a Toblerone but really big." People would say, "maybe it's a Toblerone" but she'd answer, "no it's like a Toblerone but really really really big." It was hilarious. -
