Ah, apologies — I genuinely had no idea this had already been developed! Looks like we stumbled upon the same solution independently — classic case of convergent evolution 😄 I imagine it's not just the MNR that could benefit, but pretty much any high-scuttle, pointed-nose kit car would gain from having a “sightline” like that. Great minds engineering in parallel, huh? 😉

Recently had a track day at Donington on the full circuit .. here's SWMBO taking her 82 year old dad out for a spin Sat at home with the stopwatch I managed a fastest lap of 2min6secs which I don't think is too bad for an old man with no budget and even less talent

    New purchase ..... first problems

As far as I know, it isn't possible to register it unfortunately. The only "legit" way to register those cars at the moment, is through the CRS ("Certificato di Rilevanza Storica" in italian) which can be issued to at least 20 years old cars. 10 years ago the regulations were much "lax" and a few quite new Westfields have been registered, but right now that isn't possible anymore. If you want a more authoritative opinion from someone who works daily with importing and exporting cars, just get in touch with Leo at Car4Passion (https://www.car4passion.com/), he'll be able to let you know if any possibility exists.

I think they have a 20 year rule where the car needs to be 20 year old to get into italy i personally haven't sold a car to italy my friend has a contact in italy thats he's sold many cars to including a megablade and megabusa so it is possible i think you just need to know how the system works

Ciao @supernuz and welcome . I assume you know some other Italian Westfield Pilots @mTT97 & @LoneWolf? I'm sorry to advise the documents you're after don't likely exist! The only car Westfield sold into the EU with type approval was the Sport Turbo. I'm sure @mTT97 has a friend with a bike engined Wesfield in Italy, so may be able to advise how to help you.
  12. Hello everyone. I'd like to purchase a Westfield Megablade with English registration. The car is already in Italy, but to register it in Italy, I need the technical data sheet or COC. How can I do this? The VIN is SA9WS1W179X039147. I'm 52 years old, Italian, and have always been in love with kit cars. I can finally buy one.

Exactly ! - this is "sight" i have attached to see where this wheel is In Westfield I can see both wheels. In MNR left front not. I've got to say (not to brag or anything 🙂), but it actually works — and I’m really proud of this tuning!

What is that sticking up from the front left wing? Is it so you can see where the wheel is approximately if you can't actually see the wheel from the drivers seat? Now you'll tell me it was just a bit of track debris that got stuck and I'll have to hide from the embarrassment for a month 😂

Second trouble-free track day with my MNR Vortx Inboard CBR1000RR. I'm starting to feel more confident in the car. Lots of impressions and comparisons to my track-spec Westfield Aerorace. Ideally, I’d love to drive both cars on the same track, on the same day, and compare lap times directly. Unfortunately, that’s not feasible at the moment, so my conclusions are based purely on driving impressions. Here’s what I’ve noticed: The MNR feels very planted—stable, composed, and smooth over bumps and curbs. It's also easier to control when the rear steps out, especially compared to the Westfield. This time, I tested it on both semi-slicks (Yokohama A052) and full slicks. I also felt noticeably less fatigued after a session in the MNR. On a more somber note, I recently read that Marc Nordon, the creator of MNR cars, is now in hospice care. Really sad and unfortunate news : - ( .

If you're looking for a bit of light reading the Race and rally car source book by Allan Staniforth has some good suspension write ups.

An interesting thread from the archives here: Rather than take this one too much further off topic.
