What have we done?
Tim (Sideways) Johnson - Club Treasurer replied to Tim (Sideways) Johnson - Club Treasurer's topic in The Start Line
Proper fitment of the (used) SBFS half hood. It’s designed for an MSA rollbar, so was a bit of a punt. It actually fits quite nicely with the roof struts up, just needed to add some poppers to the rear tensioning straps, so they could attach to the poppers on the bodywork… -
Sorry Ben it needs to stay with the car .

No no, that's blamed on low value oversees postal imports which can also now be taxed. -

And they all wonder why all these city centres have shops closing and lower foot fall!

Cardiff council have just voted to bring in higher charges for residents parking of "large suv's" but one of the definitions of large is length and at 12 feet it makes the westfield 11 a large vehicle , at the same time they have extended the residents parking to cover the whole of cardiff so if you travel to anywhere in cardiff you can only park in council car parks and they have just had massive price hikes in all car parks. Just so they get you all ways the council own the bus company and the labour run assembly own the trains.

I agree. Landfill tax started at a few quid per tonne - a green levy 'to encourage recycling'. It's now over £130 per tonne. Which is why organised crime is now involved in industrial scale fly tipping.

Once they have a process for the new pay-per-mile, they'll definitely use it to gouge everything. -
But they will, it will be a Green Levy. Locally they are charging more for parking based on emissions and weight so nothing surprises me
-
The pence per mile charge for EV’s in to offset the decline in fuel duty revenue so in theory the Government lying toerags should not start adding pence per mile to petrol/diesel vehicles
-
Stop giving them ideas...
