Watery bits

Not too much to report as I've been busy building walls again but I did manage to re-fit the fuel tank and some of that rather large fuel pipe from the new filler neck down to the tank.

Here's the new filler neck, aluminium and locking. That's an improvement over the push-in type that it came with. I know the tank is tiny and the amount of fuel small but I still don't fancy having it syphoned when I'm not looking!

I'd forgotten how soft the fibreglass is when a file is taken to it but I managed to enlarge the mounting hole to a nice round shape without over doing it. The housing fits very nicely and tightened down well.

Now though, as I'd fitted the new pipe (as above), the much straighter route that this takes over the previous one which was mutli-part and badly kinked, the boot box hits it! Grrr. A modification to the boot box will be made to allow for this at some point.
