Another weekend spend to investigate why the DRLs switch off with the engine running. Have taken the brave pill and partly rewired everything so that I can access the fuses easier when the scuttle is on. Also rewired the indicator/hazard circuit, but this made no difference whatsoever. Somehow there is a current on the indicator circuit both when the engine is off and running. Even when I had disconnected all indicator end points it would not go down to 0V. As a last resort I put another relay on the indicator circuit (to only switch current to the indicator on the DRL when the indicators are being used) and this did the trick. It adds another failure point into the wiring, but I'm past the point of caring

Deja vu! Yet another weekend spend to investigate the DRLs. Whatever the cause, I don't know, but I finally managed to get it working, in a completely different way that I would never have thought to be the solution. As per last weekend, I don't really care anymore so just enjoy the photo
