Anybody have any views on whether the Exeter show is worth the effort of goin'?

It's only worth the effort if people make the effort.... ;)

I've been twice. Last year, and 2001.

2001 was quite good, 2002, was just about passable. It's worth going if you need to pick/order bits, and you want to handle them first. Both trips were made worth it because I was able to inspect/measure stuff, which I then bought at a good price. And it's a lot further to go for me than it is you.......

I'm too lazy to look at a Map or open Autoroute.

How far is Exeter from Bath as I will be in Bath on Afternoon of 15th.

Exeter is about an hour or so south of Bristol down the M5. I gather the venue is close to the m/way...

Allow 21/4 hours from Bath for traffic as this is a particularly busy stretch of m'way at weekends these days.

Its a Smart / Swatchmobile - you don't drive it or push it,..... you wear it!

I went last year and it was OK... Certainly the drive was better than the show, but the drive was really - really good (Torrington, Winkleigh, Crediton, Exeter)

Bloomin cold last year tho!!!

If anybody else is going I'd be interested to meet up with other members!

Cheers...

I just had a look at the Westpoint Venue site and it's 10-5pm both days.

just negotiated parole for good behaviour with SWMBO and will be attending on Saturday.

If you see a tall fat *astard with blonde hair wandering around muttering obscenities about the price of Stack instruments - then run a mile!

Cheers
