ajpearson
I agree, death penalty all the way. Administered by the parents
FILFAN
I don't see any reasons in keeping them alive. Our children will always be at risk after they have served their time. If you fancy children no amount of counciling etc will make a difference. It's not like i would stop finding women attractive by talking to someone. Norman Verona
Excuse me but he hasn't been proved guilty yet.
jeff oakley
Well lets's not forget innocent until proven guilty. With celebrities the flood gates have opened as many see an opportunity to cash in on this. If they are guilty then yes throw the key away. However, how many of these who have been charged really knew what they were doing in many cases. How many on here when out clubbing asked to see id of age before attempting to pull? Even if they were willing but only 15 then that is offences against children. We need to wait for the facts in the court to be heard. What ever happens here his career is over as people will only ever see a kiddie fiddler when they see him on TV.
XTR2Turbo
The news last night said that all the assaults are alleged by one woman
Man On The Clapham Omnibus
Excuse me but he hasn't been proved guilty yet. Of course Norman, but Steve's remedy was a generic one for (known or proven) abusers. He didn't say that this person was guilty. God help the accused when (if) he is found so though! jeff oakley
The other thing is that a few months ago the case was dropped for lack of evidence. The CPS have had another look and think they may get a conviction. Again it may be that someone is looking for a celebrity scalp for their career and with all the fuss with Saville Stuart Hall and many others they may be counting on a jury that is swung by the fact that it seems rife in the entertainment industry. I will not miss him as he has always been a crap actor in a crap show making a lot of money for himself.
Norman Verona
I wonder what he'll do if found innocent. He's probably self employed so won't be able to claim wrongful dismissal but I wonder if he can sue on other grounds.
JeffC
I think for convicted rapists and child abusers the torture inflicted on Daniel Craig in Casino Royal would be quite fitting, ten doses of that knotted Rope each day for a year or so would make them think twice
