iain m Posted February 13, 2013 Posted February 13, 2013 I believe it was in Singapore some years ago an American teenager was caught damaging car painwork, he received a punishment similar to " birching " and there was almost an international incident, I think the family and USA embassy backed off when they realised the alternative was a overcrowded local jail.
