Graham0127 Posted February 5, 2013 Posted February 5, 2013 SWMBO`s Mini went in today......`Hello,Cooper here, just letting you know your turbo has gone`......`that`s why I brought it in`.......`Oh `......... Economy....10/10 Handling .......9/10 Fun...............9/10 Practicality....3/10 Dealer support.....Hopeless Told `em,,,turbos rattling, chucking out black soot all over the engine, fuel cosumptions gone up and loss of power. Could have been worse....If I`d called the AA they`d probably have told me it was the battery! Quote
SteveD Posted February 5, 2013 Posted February 5, 2013 yeh sounds like the battery to me to ,best get it changed asap especially with winter here Quote
Graham0127 Posted February 5, 2013 Author Posted February 5, 2013 Aren`t you supposed to be resting, you daft lump.Glad to see your sense of humour is still pin sharp Steve.... Thanks for your support.....about as useless as Coopers` Keep mending mate, all thinking of you. Quote
XTR2Turbo Posted February 5, 2013 Posted February 5, 2013 Mini assist are useless. When my turbo failed they sent mini assist. He just started to rev the engine from cold to the limiter and said wouldn't do that if turbo was failed. I told him I didn't need any more of his sort of fault finding and he left in a huff It got recovered to th edealer who diagnosed failed turbo Quote
Graham0127 Posted February 5, 2013 Author Posted February 5, 2013 I`m shocked at the way the dealers behave and how they employ people on reception who may as well work in Lidl. When her clutch went at 29000 miles I told the receptionist `the clutch has gone`....she said `how do you know?`...........How do these fools get jobs? ? ? ? XTR2Turbo Posted February 5, 2013 Posted February 5, 2013 A colleagues mini (6 months old) has been at the dealer for 3 weeks now. It won't start and they can't even get their computer to talk to the car yet. Every other day the progress update is new software / hardware is being sent from Germany Quote
