Masked raider dies at Ladbrokes

Morning members.....

Well what are the do gooders going to make of this  ???????????????

Hazard has received poor treatment by the FA for the incident at Swansea,so what can good old members of the public expect regarding the Ladbrokes incident .What do these people think gives them the right to raid a business wearing a mask & carrying a gun wether real or not. Petty Hazard wasn`t there placing a bet,the raider could have also got the kicking he deserved.

I say good riddance to bad rubbish...there`s no excuse whatsoever for this behaviour.

I dare say some do gooders will find a good reason for his actions ,but tough.I feel sorry for the punters who will be affected by this for  years.

I say`give the punters who restrained him a medal for bravery.

Sorry if this upsets some members.....but it makes my blood boil..

Also we`ve today decided to give Syria £21 million in aid...and can`t provide free traffic control for a Lancashire festival, volunteers need to cough up £3000 for training....

End of my Saturday rant.

Ladbrokes is a curious business isn't it..  full of desperate, penniless, internetless souls.  Can't say it's where I would want to spend my Saturday afternoon.

OK, seen it on the news now.

Simple. He should get a life time ban - Oh, he's already got that.

The others involved should all get red card and a 3 match ban.

Sorted.

It snowed here last night. The cloud cover must have been very thick as e lost the signal from the sat dish.

This turned to rain at about 1 am but this morning there's still snow on the ground and roofs. But it's clear blue skies and brilliant sunshine now.

Not much sympathy for the robber on the face of it. Regardless of his motives I hope a member of the public won't get in trouble, but you never know these days.

...on the face of it......

Did he think he was going to a fancy dress party.....I think not.

No motive justifies armed robbery.....

Crime & justice.....justice has seen to be done in my views....& like you, I hope nobody  gets in trouble.

We dont have enough facts about what happened when the punters tackled him

He clearly was taking a risk with a gun as if police there they would have shot him and it was not the punters that created the situation and they were probably terrified

I reckon what happened, was the punters thought.......YOU`RE GOING DOWN MATE....there are some tough parts of Plymouth.

You`re right Terry ,he took a risk....a risk too far.

As another member said...`devine justice`

You can't compare some one tackling an armed robber, with a footballer kicking a ball boy surely?

I don't think FA was harsh at all. Yes the ball boy was well in the wrong, but a professional sportsman kicking a child on the ground? there is no excuse for that... That kind of poor sportsman ship and attitude is damaging to football, and yes the ball boy was equally unsporting but where do you think he learnt that behaviour - maybe form the role models on the pitch. I think the FA need to make a stand to say this is not acceptable.

Fwiiw, I think the ball boy should also have been shown a red card (the ref can do that if he wants) and also banned for a few matches...

Wonder what the odds were of that happening?

Matt, I don't think Hazard kicked the boy, he kicked the football the boy was lying on.
