Following membership secretary post on all issues with paypal resolved,

 

i have today found that they have paid my membership fee for a second time, am i just the unlucky one are any one else?

 

Do i need to contact someone or will this be resolved automatically.

According to what I can see, we've only received one payment from your account, and you weren't on our original list of double payers, either.  Can you please PM me all PayPal reference numbers on both transactions, and I'll forward it on to Adrian to look at - thanks.

 

In the meantime, you might want to make sure your auto-subscribe function is turned off.

anyone else having a problem with paypal not refunding the refund though..? I've emailed them to find out what's going on but nothing so far.

Yes - same here. Paypal have placed a temporary hold on the refund transaction.

got a reply back from paypal... 

 

some flanel about waiting for my money to go in... They've refunded me now.

Both your refunds show on 7th Jan as completed. I suspect it is Paypal holding on to money as long as possible.
