Pantherman Posted January 7, 2013 Posted January 7, 2013 Taking her in doors to see Jersey Boys in Feb ,staying in Windsor the night before ( going to the Fat Duck) wasn't, sure whether to try and travel in from Windsor and get train back after show or wondered if some one could recommend a reasonably priced hotel near to theatre land. Hope this makes sense probably doesn't. All advice accepted Dave Quote
Blatman Posted January 8, 2013 Posted January 8, 2013 "Reasonably priced" and "Theatreland" are not usually happy bedfellows. And there are just soooo many hotels neaby I think I'd shove a search into Trivago, Lastminute and good old Google, see what gets thrown up then ask about specific hotels that fit your price range. alexander72 Posted January 8, 2013 Posted January 8, 2013 i use lucy at late rooms - park plaza is cheap and cheerful and clean. I always stay at the Goring Hotel when in London - they have excellent cheese. Quote
Stuart Posted January 8, 2013 Posted January 8, 2013 We went to see that couple of years ago, stayed in the Coach and Horses on Kew Green and got the tube in. Good place, reasonable price and worked well + we got to see the gardens the next day. Quote
alexander72 Posted January 8, 2013 Posted January 8, 2013 Good Call Stewart - Lovely arboretum at Kew Quote
KerryS Posted January 8, 2013 Posted January 8, 2013 Doesn't answer the Q but we go to matinees and go by train from home, meal afterwards and train home. Quote
