I seem to be doing okay with metric.....

Metric apart from the 7/16" UNF suspension bolts which are 5/8" AF. A couple of other sizes are different and maybe imperial like the track rod ends and ball joints. Mainly metric but also depends on your engine suspect metric again.

I have an unused set of AF spanners

If you buy metric in 1mm increments that will do, 16mm is for suspension

My set is 6mm-19mm +22mm its rzre I use my old set of af or unf

... and chisel.

Get a complete set of both metric and AF spanners and always use the correct spanner/socket for the nut/bolt.

When I was a lad I was given a clip round the ear if I used the incorrect tool.
