Great day for it cracking run out down the A49...... Until on the way home (1mileaway from my house) bang the westie stops and dies... After checking for fuel decided to check for spark. No spark then I saw the problem..... Plug had come of the coil pack!!! Just glad to get home hope this isn't the luck for 2013.

Had a cheeky run out myself today about 30 miles or so. Thought it was warmer than it actually was and was too stubborn to go and put some sleeves on under my fleece. Bit chilly at warp factor 7 down the M60 though, heater helped a little but still came back with a drippy nose. Next time ickle hat, gloves and sleeves would help. No dramas though. First one of many I hope.

I went for a run out to North Wales , well that was the plan, until found the M56 closed off for some reason and having to divert to A56 through Frodsham , but the traffic was dog slow so a change of plan and up through delamere instead .

The Wirral and North Wales mob are heading out in the morning 9am start from the Tudor Rose undoubtedly into N. Wales.

We've had a friend, Jacob, round for dinner as his other half is away for a few weeks.

 

HM made a lovely dinner all washed down by 4 bottle of red.

 

I've no idea how he drove home, for all I know he's fast asleep in the road outside the farm.

I rolled the car out of the garage, programmed in a little change to the digital dash display that I've been wanting to do for some time and thought about going for a lap round the block to move the fluids around.  Then it started to drizzle, so I started the car, let it warm up and drove it back into the garage.  A total of about 25 ft.  Does that count as a blat???  

 

Engine still sounds brilliant though

i managed 60 minutes yesterday with ne club member Jon Pettit on board.  We did Moulton to Salcey forest, A508 to Stony Stratford then up to Towcester, across Stoke Bruerne, Northampton Casuals RFC for a pint and catch the game then home.....  Car ran well and Jon is now getting stuck into his re-build of Stu Hills old car :-)
