Graham0127 Posted January 3, 2013 Posted January 3, 2013 Hi guys.Well another year and yesterday our new car arrived and I`m finding it a bit hard to keep up with technology. You all know the situation...cars delivered, grab the keys ,find something for the kids to do & PLAY.........Admire the alloys...wonder when tyres will stop growing....wonder why it`s limited to 155 (state of our roads) then...................pop the bonnet......not really a lot to see under there these days is there.....NOT EVEN AN OIL DIPSTICK.......hunted and hunted.....looked in the book......phoned the dealership back.....was it optional ? `no sir it hasn`t got one`,`however sir,if you would like to check your oil you can by using the i Drive & veiwing the TV. God help us...where will it all end...Why don`t Westfield build a 5 seater estate capable of pulling us all the way to the Loire Valley? Quote
Norman Verona Posted January 3, 2013 Posted January 3, 2013 Graham, the 2 seater gets here just fine Quote
Graham0127 Posted January 3, 2013 Author Posted January 3, 2013 Trouble is I`ll need to attach a trailer.....No Norm got a better idea.....Silly German estate car, trailer on said car, little two seater on said trailer..We don`t have problems,we only have solutions.Hope your well Norm. Quote
Norman Verona Posted January 3, 2013 Posted January 3, 2013 I am well, thanks. You won't need a trailer to visit here. You only need a few clothes. We have everything else. Quote
Graham0127 Posted January 3, 2013 Author Posted January 3, 2013 Great Norm, but if my wife can`t bring her make-up,have you got plenty of bags??Would I recognise her without it? Quote
Norman Verona Posted January 3, 2013 Posted January 3, 2013 You can get a make up bag in the boot. She can't have that much, can she? I do have an old bag, goes by the name of HM. Quote
Graham0127 Posted January 3, 2013 Author Posted January 3, 2013 Easy .....if my wife reads this she won`t come & yours won`t let me....... Quote
Norman Verona Posted January 3, 2013 Posted January 3, 2013 Mine will always make you welcome. She's used to my humour. She's had to suffer it for over 50 years. Quote
User0083 Posted January 4, 2013 Posted January 4, 2013 I'm waiting on operation dates and recovery times... Then a trip to Norman's gites can be arranged... I'd offer open and dates available! Mrs C has more tools for her hair and more products for her face than I have in the garage for the car! But she's always in mini skirts, hot pants and flip flops, so space saved there! Quote
Norman Verona Posted January 4, 2013 Posted January 4, 2013 Stephen, just send your Mrs, you can stay at home Quote
