DerbyNotts Slot Car Racing 1st February!

SORRY, BUT DUE TO LOW ENTRY NUMBERS, THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED.

 

Slot car racing is back for 2013!  Please put the date in your diary!

 

Entry forms will be available on the DerbyNotts page when I have drawn them up... see post 8 for link

 

Cost will be £13 per head which includes hot buffet at the Station Hotel, Loughborough, and racing with Quorn Slot Car Club. There will be trophies for the Championship winner, fastest lady driver, and fastest lap of the day.

Looking forward to the start to the racing season!

Looks like when the xmas decorations go into the loft the Scalextric set will be coming out for some practice.....

Sounds like fun!  Wish we could do that at Stoneleigh with proceeds going to charity, it would be a riot. :laugh:

Hi Scott, the place we go to in Loughborough has a fixed track, groves machined in high grade mdf and copper tracks. Really good with electronic timing.  The cars have a brake when you take your finger off the trigger....

There are people out there with multi lane set-ups that are transportable.

Garry ,do they still run twin microperm and milliperm motors,or have they moved on to those dustbin type can motors?

Am I allways behind the curve? :blush:
