Looking for the previous shape to the current model. If anyone has one for sale, or knows someone who is thinking of part ex ing one let me know. To avoid the DPF problem I wanted 2007 latest but the mileages were horrific in the main. Someone suggested a Jaguar X-Type estate diesel as they lose money fast, the running gear is Mk3 Mondeo, and can be had at near Mondeo prices. The benefit is that as most are privately owned as opposed to company hacks like the Ford, the mileages are generally lower. I bought a 56 plate 2.2 Sovereign estate with 27k on it. Admittedly I paid a top price but it came from Guy Salmon and included a year's Jaguar Approved warranty that normally would be worth £1k on its own.
