I think the point Jeff was making mate is the Conti's grip and the budget ditch finders dont. :p

Bought my current car (E36 Compact) which had some suntek's on the front, and some seriously cracked pre 1999 vintage tyres on the rear, seriously unnerving to drive, even just 65 down the dualcarrageway felt unsafe.

 

£120 for a set of wheels with part worn dunlop winters. Totally transformed.
