Mooch Posted December 22, 2012 Posted December 22, 2012 Right, that's it. Enough prevaricating. I've bitten the bullet and just ordered a new set of discs and pads all round, and a new set of Toyo R1Rs to go with them for the winter upgrade. It was always going to be Toyos, but I decided on R1Rs as a sensible compromise between R888s and T1Rs. I only do a couple of track days a year and the rest is road use. There loads of past debate about the pros and cons of each but I think (read 'hope') I've made the right tyre choice. Quote
Dave Eastwood (Gadgetman) - Club Chairman Posted December 22, 2012 Posted December 22, 2012 I don't think you'll regret it, I've loved my R1R's, the car's felt so much more usable all year round and in all conditions than it did on R888's. Quote
Mooch Posted December 22, 2012 Author Posted December 22, 2012 That's good to know. I'm rather looking forward to trying them out! Quote
