Norman Verona
Just got back from the restaurant. I had a sea food bake whotsit. Very hot and very nice with mushrooms, prawns & muscles covered in cheese and baked. HM doesn't have a starter. Then I had Trout with sliced boiled potatoes and "haricot vert" (green beans). Fantastic. HM had entrecot steak in a special sauce which isn't on the menu. She loved it. I had a "Colonel" which is a large vodka with 3 scoops of lemon sorbet and HM had chocolate cake with cream. We drank: Kir Breton (Breton cider with Kir) a Bottle of Samuar Champigny (red wine) I had the vodka in the Colonel and I had a coffee with a Cognac. Now, where that bottle of Whiskey. many thanks for all your good wishes and........ ...... goodnight

KugaWestie
What you have to consider Norman is how many special occasions you have in front of you - dont set the bar too high - surely you dont want to waste that nice whisky by never drinking it
