3 cars so far are having a run out through Derbyshire on Sunday, all are welcome.

Meet is at McDonalds at the end of the M67 Mottram, then Castleton, Chatsworh, Ashbourne, Matlock, Bakewell and Home.

More details and time will be posted Saturday once I have some idea of numbers and any can and can'ts.

Be there or be ...

Mike,

if you want somewhere to head for a break, there is a Transtar Classic car/bike show on near Ashbourne. Its about 5 miles south of Ashbourne on the B5032 at Doveleys (pronounced duv-lees!;)

I will be there probably with my Grinnall (a stone smashed the Westfields screen last night) promoting our Darley Dale Festival of Transport which unfortnately is the same weekend as Donington Kit Show.

Hi Mike,

Sounds good - depending on times I'll meet up at Mottram or Castleton.

So where were the Manchester boys, arrived @ Castleton main car park bang on 10:30 and waited nearly an hour, then spent a couple of hours round the snake/ ladybower area before heading home.

Got absolutely soaked in a deluge on the way home so am I safe in assuming that the weather put you off ? :arse:

Chesterfield sunny, Chatsworth looking gloomy, Castleton @1030 sunny, drive round for a bit, had a chat with some bloke and his missus from Rotherham with a yellow nose cone, made our way over to Bakewll p****g it down (passed a yellow westie? for some reason didn't seem to want to stop 4 a chat), tried to park under a tree, went 4 lunch, watched various blues bands playing in the market square (hoping that the rain would subside - it didn't), parking ticket ran out, back to car to go home, car absolutely wet through - lucky I had my extra absorbent shorts on !! soon dried off once got going and out of bakewell - as was discussed on the coast to coast just drive faster and the rain misses you......
