Captain Colonial
OK, OK, I know, bad pun... I'll get me coat. One of the perks of being MemSec is that I get to converse with members around the globe, who love sharing their passion. Just renewed the membership of "rbrincat", who lives in Malta (and was an extra in Gladiator!). If you've never been to Malta, they are absolutely car nuts - I think it's where old British cars go to retire, never seen so many Anglias, Cortinas. Mk1 Escorts, Poplars, Zephyrs, etc., a bit like Cuba is with Yank tanks only better. Anyway, they have a 7s club in Malta, and Ryan's car is in some photos on their Facebook page, so take a minute to have a look and a "like", and pass on the WSCC lurve to him. I'm sure if you're going to Malta and PM him in advance, he and his friends in the Malta 7s Club would make you welcome. Clicky
Norman Verona
There's a Maltese chap in the L7C who was, maybe still is, and engine builder. His sister came over to the UK with her 7 and was having problems staying. Not sure if she got it sorted or had to go back.
XTR2Turbo
I go to Malta a couple of times a year with work. Really in to their cars. They also have a great drag racing team that comes over to SantaPod for the FIA finals What's great is the sun makes the tarmac super smooth and shiny so you can get tyre squeal at about 10 mph. Childish but kept me amused.
