I've got a cough, I'm fed up, I'm bored, HM is getting better (good)....

.... So I thought we needed a really big big argument. You know, the type that really matters rather than arguing about free membership and bulk buys.

OK, are you ready.

Wait for it....

Caterhams are proper cars whilst Westfields are kits.

If this was on BC you'd get more arguments about the incorrect use of apostrophes... ;-)

I know, but I'm ill.

I'm going to have a lie down.

You should, then when you wake up, go and wash your mouth out with soap.......

I thought it may deflect from the flogging of that poor horse.

I'm off to my bed. HM is a wonderful nurse. She's reported I have a temperature and that I'm quite ill.

I think it's just a cough with a slight temperature.

aggghhhhhhhhhhhhhh  I feel awful, nearly as awful as I look.

You're definately pretty ill then Norm if you feel as bad as you look.

Nasty mental image.......aaaaaaaaargh.

To be fair I don't even think many owners would call their westies 'proper cars' :westy:

It's alright. I don't think mine's a proper car.

I seem to fail at most things these days. They're (including me) still flogging that horse.

Not meant to be proper, supposed to be different, definitely quirky, reflection of the owner.....long live the seven.....

You'll have to come to the August BMMC Sprint to see the answer Norman, but I will let slip that there are a lot of smiling faces on here when the winners are announced  :d  :d

You should get a warning point for that statement

Peter, I know that you and I try doubly-handedly to keep up standards of pedantry on this blog, but I'm obviously failing as I can see no apostrophe errors in Norman's post! Please elucidate.

Oh, and less importantly, a "proper car" is obviously a warm, peaceful and comfortable place to sit whilst in the inevitable traffic jam. Long live both sorts of "improper car".

David, I removed the offending items.

I was only trying to start a discussion to stop the other one.

Nick, I was with another Caterham owner, who's name I'm not allowed to mention, at Brize Norton 1/4 mile thingie. He really thought he had the fastest 7 in the world. However there were two Westfields there who were much faster than either of us. They were not discussed but I kept mentioning it and getting very hateful looks. I've often wondered who they were, it was 2005.  sorry 2004. it says so here: http://www.lotus7news.co.uk/303.html
