Do remember that DAB in the UK is not very high quality, FM can be better although with all audio things that can be subjective. The bit rate used for DAB is lower than therates you would normally use for making your own MP3 files.

Basically don't expect to be blown away by DAB music quality levels.

With the state of what passes as "music" these days I wouldnt be to concerned about quality ,the main requirement seems to be more for extra loud volume and a dirty great big resonant bass box

Internet radio has some cracking stuff amongst the swathes of dross, much better than DAB. 24 bit downloads can also be a thing of wonderment on a good hi fi.

Make yourself a media centre from a PC and use USB out to a good DAC then into your hi fi . Store all your music on the PC .

I have a DaCmagic 3 , my son an M-Dac . With a decent player on the PC results are very impressive with lossless music

So what's a decent player for Windows Hammy? Just as a backup for when my Squeezebox Touch eventually gives up the ghost. I did think about buying a spare but £190 is a bit much for something that's still being sold but is now obsolete. Be nice to think someone else will make something with the same functionality by then though. Very disappointing what you've done Logitech.
