carbon-nv Posted September 28, 2012 Posted September 28, 2012 For those who've been following the project along it's journey or have seen models of the car at various events over the last few years, there's a planned test-firing of the rocket that'LL take the car upto the 1000mph mark on 3rd Oct The news channels may pick it up, but there's also a live stream on the Bloodhound site which is also stacked with loads of fascinating stuff about this amazing project. Fuel pump driven by a Cosworth F1 engine anyone? http://www.bloodhoundssc.com/ Next year they're going for the first proper test run on the specially prepared stretch of dry lake bed in South Africa, with a full tilt at 1k mph planned for 2014 Quote
