gregh Posted April 22, 2003 Posted April 22, 2003 Never driven this circuit, and always wanted to , so wondered if anyone wanted to join up and thus get a discount from bookatrack if we can get 10 people together. Peeps on the bookatrack website rave about this circuit: Circuits don't get much better than this for elise or seven drivers, easy to learn and a great circuit for beginners. However it is actually a highly technical circuit that means you can return time after time and find extra speed. Lots of run off and beautiful views on a clear day. Quote
ACW Posted April 22, 2003 Posted April 22, 2003 It's my favorite 7 circuit. It's just perfect for 7esques. I'd be interested. Quote
The Duck Posted April 22, 2003 Posted April 22, 2003 what sort of price, but count me in, if i can get the day of work Quote
gregh Posted April 22, 2003 Author Posted April 22, 2003 current price is £119 for the day, should get 10% off if we can get 10 people together. regards, greg Quote
gregh Posted April 23, 2003 Author Posted April 23, 2003 anyone else? need 10 people to get a discount!! Greg Quote
markboyce Posted April 23, 2003 Posted April 23, 2003 I have to agree its one of the best circuits out there. Been to over 15 trackdays there now. It doesnt get much better. I may be interested, but wont know for a few weeks yet as the car is in bits. The rest of you lot with cars ready to go should try and make it, its very technical to the point you can always find abit more everytime you go or if like the back end hanging out it doesnt get much better than round abbotts and radar. cheers mark Quote
tonym Posted April 24, 2003 Posted April 24, 2003 I could be interested if the car survives Bruntingthorpe (May 10th with the Sylva owners club) and Aintree (May 31st organised by the Liverpool motor club) If you can get enough intrest Email me. It is a lovely little circuit, the only drawback being its location. Quote
juansolo Posted April 28, 2003 Posted April 28, 2003 I'm already provisionally booked for that one and haven't paid yet so count me in! ...though I might not be in the Westie. Quote
HarvSurrey Posted April 28, 2003 Posted April 28, 2003 No westy Mr solo............................can i book a cut and blow dry then Quote
juansolo Posted April 28, 2003 Posted April 28, 2003 TBH it's more because Anglesey is nearly 3 tanks of fuel away and I no longer have a towcar and trailer. If I can blag one in time then it'll be there, otherwise it'll be the easy life with the Meester Two. Quote
gregh Posted April 29, 2003 Author Posted April 29, 2003 how far is the anglesey circuit from Leeds then Mr Solo??? Greg Quote
juansolo Posted April 29, 2003 Posted April 29, 2003 180 miles from where the car is stored (did the journey last week towing, cracking day). The Westfield does 70 miles on a tank of fuel (just over 20ltrs) on the motorway. Handily that is exactly 1 tank of gas to get me to Donington (this has been tested) Basically about £105 in fuel alone to get to from and drive around Anglesey and a fair amount of ball ache. I haven't ruled it out but TBH it's a lot more pleasant and less hassle in the MR2. Plus I haven't run it around Anglesey yet and want to give it a blast. Driving the Westie to Cadwell next Monday with BaT so that should be interesting. Not been there before and it's raved about... Might try and skive quick blast around Elvington in the MR2 on Saturday, it's not run in yet so I'll be behaving myself. Stoneleigh on Sunday. Quite a busy weekend ahead. Quote
