JOCKER
Hi there I have a 2ltr zetec with a dunnell sump and am unsure about the oil capacity - how much should I put in? Also I presume it's a 5w/30 oil - is that correct? Many thanks Jocker
AdamR
Hello, Mine used about 4.5l I believe - but I just put about 3.5l in then kept topping up gradually 5w30 is the official Ford spec oil, but many go for 5w40 for better protection if / when the car is used hard. This is what Dunnell recommend I believe. Cheers, Adam

kevip6
I may be wrong but I thought it was different for a blacktop to the earlier zetec engines. Again I may be wrong but I thought I read when I was looking into this that the blacktop should be 5/30. I knows there are loads of threads on this if you do a search. Most go back forth between the two
