O/t - Derby Tow Bar Supply And Fit Recommendations Requested

Dear all,

I have a 58 plate BMW 5 series estate that will need to tow.

I'd like to get a towbar supplied and fitted and would appreciate recommends (or the opposite) for people who do this within a reasonable distance of Derby.

Most of all, am looking for reliable, dependable people (am not choosing on cost alone).

Any help gratefully appreciated.

As an aside, I have a hankering for one of those automatically disappearing towbar but, unlike the fitter, my guess is that choice *will* be based on cost

Don't know what they would offer you but do a number of ranges.

Witter are very good quality, and they make kits for most cars/models. I should have though your local friendly garage should be able to fit it, mine did on my Volvo.

Mines a Westfalia and totally hidden, you do have to unplug the hook and pack it away otherwise it doesn't exist. Various designs for various cars. Check them out on't tinterweb.

Having tried Witter and Bosal, I got my first Westfalia detachable bar (first Touareg) from Indespension in Derby. Lovely piece of kit; never had another make since! Recommended (but not the absolute cheapest )
