A MISERABLE Ozzy Osbourne leaves a Los Angeles rehab hospital after visiting his troubled 17-year-old son Jack. The 54-year-old rocker’s hangdog expression was a million miles from the wildman of rock image he portrays on stage. But yesterday an upbeat Ozzy paid tribute to Jack — saying he was proud of the way the lad admitted he had a drink and drugs problem. The singer, who has battled booze addiction himself, said: “He had the gumption and guts to confess and to just say ‘Help’.” Ozzy’s wife Sharon, who recently won her fight with cancer, told US TV show Extra: “Jack told us he needed help — that it was becoming unmanageable and he couldn’t stop. “You know, I love him more than I did yesterday for doing what he’s done. He wasn’t forced into this situation.” Sharon, 50, said they waited a week to get a bed for Jack at the Las Encinas Hospital in Pasadena, which specialises in addiction. She said: “They don’t create rehabs just for celebrity kids. We begged them to find a bed.” Jack’s sister Kelly, 18, said he had settled in well at the treatment centre. The family fear Jack turned to drugs and drink to cope with his new found fame in TV’s The Osbournes.
