dombanks Posted September 7, 2012 Posted September 7, 2012 whats the best thing to use to clean the interior plastics on a car im guessing ciff kitchen cleaner isnt the right stuff?. My z4 has a sort of beige-ish interior (i think the colour is champagne) and the plastics are looking a bit shabby. (dirty) Quote
pete275 Posted September 7, 2012 Posted September 7, 2012 Use Autoglym Vinyl Cleaner on mine works a treat Quote
SootySport Posted September 7, 2012 Posted September 7, 2012 I use Auto Glym as well but ordinary Silicone cleaners work well on concealing fine scratches, Despite the name, "Back to Black" I thought was the best and it does do most colours but test it 1st. on your light colour trim. Quote
Norman Verona Posted September 7, 2012 Posted September 7, 2012 I've no idea what they're talking about. Quote
Dave the Sparky Posted September 7, 2012 Posted September 7, 2012 Decent baby wipes work wonders on most surfaces and even remove silicone, I also use autoglym and maguires purple tyre gel if you want shine! For leather, baby wipes then gliotone clean n treat.... Dave Quote
bigals Posted September 7, 2012 Posted September 7, 2012 easy thing to clean dash and plastic trim is a microfiber cloth damp with soapy water this will lift the dirt out of the grain of most plastics then dress with any good interior dressing if required, good old soap and water cheep as chips and often over looked Quote
robo1968 Posted September 8, 2012 Posted September 8, 2012 I've no idea what they're talking about. I agree. What is this 'interior trim' people talk about? Quote
Norman Verona Posted September 8, 2012 Posted September 8, 2012 Must be some strange religious ritual. Quote
