Tigger Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 Hi Guys, Here's the scores for last weekend at Ty Croes / Anglesey or whatever you want to call it. Saturday was a normal scoring race Sunday was a 1.6e (100 point max) due to the start line being different so techically a different time. Any problems let me know Saturday's Race results Sunday's Race results Enjoy, Tiggs Quote

Terry Everall Posted September 5, 2012 Posted September 5, 2012 Steve The National 2 lapper has always has start line where it was but the normal start line for International is further along the straight so it was deemed to be a different track hence a 100 pointer Quote
stephenh Posted September 5, 2012 Posted September 5, 2012 May I be the first to congratulate Tigger on such efficient and timely posting of the points scores. :t-up: :d Quote

SteveD Posted September 5, 2012 Posted September 5, 2012 It was the finish line which was different, compared to previous year, I was told by ACW. afaik the finish was in the same place as ever at the end of the rumble strip i confirmed this on sunday when speaking to a official Quote
Garry Bunn - Derby & Notts Joint AO Posted September 5, 2012 Posted September 5, 2012 Steve, The October event, run by Longton, has the finish line further down the straight. They would not use that point for the International on Sunday as it was deemed to be 'too close to the pit lane entrance' Quote
Nick Algar - Competition Secretary Posted September 5, 2012 Posted September 5, 2012 As Gary says, the actual difference was the position of the Finish Line, hence it being a 100 point event on the Sunday as the Ty Croes event has never run on the International Course. So Sat double lapper event had a valid Target Time that could be used. We currently don;t know what Longton will do in October, so cannot confirm if it will be the usual Target Times or a 100 point event if they change the finish. Quote
