Norman Verona
I've got the bar on. Now to work out where to cut the bumper. Then refit the exhaust, refit the bumper, the rear lights, the interior trim and the rear wheel arch interiors. Oh, but before all that I've got to wire in the electrics. Oh, happy days. Norman Verona
Good morning, I'm up bright and early (for me) so I can finish the Skoda. I ended up last night with the rear bumper back on but spent an hour trying to work out which wire did what (on the car). I've slept on it and will refit the rear lights and wire up the relay with the connections to the loom not fitted. Then I'll go and get the trailer. I'll then splice in the wires one at a time by trail and error. I've half a feeling that the trailer lights are all broken so I maybe wasting my time. pistonbroke 2
Morning all . Sunny day forecast so just put the washing out .DO NOT wash youre car to-day its almost certain to chuck it down soon . My Washer is a 13 year old Beco and revs to 1200 rpm I always use Bold. Would changing to Daz give me more revs ?
Norman Verona
Of course. I throw in a liter of Mobil 1 as well, makes it rev faster and smoother.

Norman Verona
I told you Bow Locks is on the River Lea before it joins the Thames. As well as a litre of Mobil 1 mine has electronic ignition and the rev limiter has been by-passed. You should hear it banging away at full speed. Norman Verona
Afternoon Paul, been busy have you. I finished the Skoda tow bar, put all the trim back which leaves the wiring to do. However as the trailer has dodgy lamps as in he thinks only some of them work it can wait. I now have a trailer in the workshop for me to rig up a battery to test the plug and lamps. I've also got to tun a live feed direct from battery to relay (with in-line fuse). I'm sure this will turn out to be a major task seeing as how the trim in the boot is held in. I'll probably have to remove seats and sill fineshers to get under the carpets. Day off tomorrow and may go to the circus which is in the village. Then taking my love out for a meal as it's our 44th wedding anniversary.
