Paul Hurdsfield - Joint Manchester AO Posted April 15, 2003 Posted April 15, 2003 I wish you lot would stop going on about tomorrow night cos I cant be there, I’ve got to bolt on the roof rack for the mountain bikes and load up the car for a quick getaway to the Lakes with my caravan on Thursday after work, still at least I can have fun holding everyone up when I’m chugging up the M6. Anyway heres some helpful hints. At the roundabout at end of the M67 there is a Macdonalds on the right hand side as you approach from Manchester, good place for a meet, dead easy to find. If you are planing on meeting at 6.30 – 7.00pm be aware the traffic on the aproach to the end of the M67 and on the A57 through to Glossop at that time is horrendous, be prepared for delays, especially if your cooling system is marginal Have fun, and keep it on the black stuff.
