markcoopers Posted August 25, 2012 Posted August 25, 2012 Left me BMW out of my close all afternoon while i washed and cleaned the wifes van......went into town......purchased a new bike for me eldest son......watched the lightning and awed at the thunder. Well all the rain has stopped now so thought i might as well put the car back on the drive, so went to collect it and that is when i found that i had left the sunroof open........every seat is sodden and the cup holders have about half and inch of water each in them...... :A***: :A***: :A***: :A***: Cheer me up, what have you done? Terzo204 Posted August 25, 2012 Posted August 25, 2012 Hope it all cleans up ok. Autoglym carpet shampoo might be the solution for part of the problem Quote

Dave Eastwood (Gadgetman) - Club Chairman Posted August 26, 2012 Posted August 26, 2012 Years ago, working on site out near Sleaford, wiring up some kit; spent most of my time on my back and on my side reaching round and through a badly position rack. Thunder, lightening and gales that sounded like the end of the world was nigh, outside. Even stopped a few times to stare out the windows with some of the other guys on site as we congratulated ourselves that we weren't in one of the "outdoors" trades. At the end of the day, walked out to the car, ready for the three hour drive home, ****, ****, ****. At some point, I must have lay on the cars key robin my pocket and "pressed" the bl**dy un-lock button down for a good minute or so. The damn thing had spent most of the day not just un-locked, but with every window rolled down. That was a very wet and steamy trip home. Quote
