MIKEASHTON Posted April 9, 2003 Posted April 9, 2003 I have uploaded some pages that will form the basis of the Yorkshire Area Web Site. Have a look, and give me your feedback. Many Thanks Mike Ashton Quote
Bananaman Posted April 9, 2003 Posted April 9, 2003 Excelent I recon that we (Chesire & North Staff's) ought to do one like this. Andy Quote
adhawkins Posted April 9, 2003 Posted April 9, 2003 Does the host of the current web site have the ability to do sub-domains? It seems silly all the areas having to have their own domains. Why not cheshire.wscc.co.uk yorks.wscc.co.uk etc.? Andy Quote
MIKEASHTON Posted April 9, 2003 Author Posted April 9, 2003 Andy. This is just a temp location, as the WSCC Webmaster is a little snowed under at the mo, and hasn't got round to setting this up yet. Besides, this gives me a bit more time to get any errors ironed out. Mike (AO - Yorks) Quote
adhawkins Posted April 9, 2003 Posted April 9, 2003 It wasn't a comment aimed at this site specifically, but the others I've looked at all seem to have their own domains. I know how busy Adrian is atm too... It was just a suggestion that I thought might make a bit more sense than the current way of doing things. If you do need a host for the site (ahem, cough) just err....look down a few lines from here ---> Andy Quote
JazzFM Posted April 9, 2003 Posted April 9, 2003 Nice Web Site, I like the way it looks - very good. Just keep us posted as to the domain name. Quote

Buzz Billsberry Posted April 10, 2003 Posted April 10, 2003 Nice one Mike, are we the 1st break away faction of the WSCC??. I'm suprised Mark and his mum haven't sent a coalition force into Yorkshire to crush the infadels up rising If they do,I hope they bring an interpretator with them, U just can't understand those Brummies can u!!! what sort of ideas are we looking @?. I assume that it was discussed @ the last club meeting @ the Ministery of Information building known as the Fox and Grapes 'battle cruza'!! Buzz Quote
Mark Stanton Posted April 10, 2003 Posted April 10, 2003 Nice one Mike Still good to see that Buzz has his finger on the pulse and fully up to speed The sgnature graphic (2003 SS Sponsor) shows the Winsford Body Shop (2004 Sponso) web site. If you are noting SS Sponsors don't forget to include them all for 2004 See the back of your T-Shirt Quote
Peter Cox Posted April 10, 2003 Posted April 10, 2003 Cool site. I'll be interested in the "Peak District blast" when you've un- tbc'd it. Also, your WSCC link is currently (10/04/03 13:30) pointing at www.wscc.co.ukl ...ooops Quote
