We have the new Kia sportage as our tow car very impressed. Kx3 nav has switchable 4x4

I've never seen any Kia that looks like that ^^^^^

My wife has used a Hyundai for towing a horsebox ( approx 2 tons loaded) for the last 7 years.

It was 6 months old when bought and has been very reliable ever since. It seems very well made for a budget 4x4 and returns approx 30 mpg in mixed driving. I would definately buy another

I've got a later model CRV, and it tows our 1500kg caravan with no problems - I get 44mpg (when not towing).....

Agree. Also has trailer stability assist, which is an extra safety net when towing.
