Essex Area Monthly Meeting, Sunday 12Th August 2012

Once again folks that time is upon us and for those that aren't lucky enough to be at the Olympics the next best thing of course will be the Essex Area monthly meet this coming Sunday 12th August.

I'm sure you all know the drill by now but just in case any don't it's meet at the Lodge Inn SWF from 12 onwards, bit of a pub lunch for those that fancy it and/ or a glass of your favourite tipple then the remainder of the time will be spent kicking tyres and generally taking the P out of some poor unsuspecting member (normally Paul )

I've been in touch with the weather gods and have even managed to book us a window of sunshine what more could we ask for

Brian, I thought you were going to be the only person to complete all blats!

I have sent the route to John and Mark, start is at the 8Ball diner (its closed but you can still get access to the car park). First coffee stop is finchingfield and second one planned in Hatfield Peverel - should be obvious but its the cafe just at the end of the a12 slip road, the route should take you there and then send you back the way you came after your coffee.

The total route is 66 miles so probably leaving the 8 Ball at 9:30 - 10 and with two coffee stops arriving at the Lodge 12:30 - 1pm for lunch

I would have come along, but I just sold the blue zetec that I was in when I came to the meet a monthor so ago.

The XE engined car is in our other garage in Gloucs, I'm not sure it'll come back over here until we move now
