Yep you all missed an excellent day - perfect Westy weather.       I've even got sunburn

We eventually managed to find a pub (that didnt have 50bikes parked outside) to have a large plate :t-up:  of fish n' chips in the sun   :D

thanks Mike

Well I guess I should put a conclusion to Sundays run, the turn out was poor, well actually, it was just Marcus and I, but we did have Alan in his black Transam 5.7 join us.

The weather couldn’t really have been much better (Paul Hurdsfield eat your heart out) we got to take in lots of fresh air, great scenery, and the views of the country side where good too.

The roads generally where very busy but we did get to have a couple of little plays, but every time Alan complained that is brakes over heated. Sadly on our last blat Alan did his gearbox in, only have first and second gear, they just don’t build American cars for that kind of hard driving…..

We made it to Matlock and Westyfield was spot on with his comments (thanks once again) we did see one other Westfield and two c******ms. We couldn’t get to park in the town so we had lunch just outside, I couldn’t help thinking that if had a large turn out, that stopping any where would have been a problem.

We as planned we came home via Bakewell, but as we was enjoying the drive so much, didn’t bother to stop for any tarts. I think we all learned something on the day, I know never to leave home without the doors. Marcus found out just how much fun Westfield are and Alan got a lesson in power to weight.

Hope to see you on the next one

Good if you can email me any pics Marcus. Hurdsey, it may have been 95 in the shade but your Westie was 6,000 miles away ;)
