Karl Woolf Posted February 26, 2003 Posted February 26, 2003 In an aim to blow off the winter cobwebs and test out my winter mods have booked into Elvington with bookatrack for the 5th April. As its an airfield, if it rains then you can have plenty of sidewards action without the risk of sticking it into the Tyre walls Its a Jap car day but has got the interest of 3-4 westies to attend, well it`ll be nice to torment the odd skyline So anyone fancy it, if so got to bookatrack.com Quote
cashy Posted February 27, 2003 Posted February 27, 2003 Ive got my name down as a provisional, theres some chat on jap forum saying why are there westfields and lotus registered as attending!!! I told them some of there jap cars would be nice mobile chicanes...........woops... Quote
Jon Murray Posted February 27, 2003 Posted February 27, 2003 Cashy, Whats the link to the jap forum?? Would love to see the responses to that one! Jon Quote
Karl Woolf Posted February 28, 2003 Author Posted February 28, 2003 That`ll stir some red mist for the day then Which toy are you taking on the day then, the GTiR sounds a it of a beast Quote
Karl Woolf Posted March 13, 2003 Author Posted March 13, 2003 Well thats at least 5 westies So 8 places remaining but are now starting to go quickly. So just a last reminder if you fancy it Cheers Karl Quote
cashy Posted March 15, 2003 Posted March 15, 2003 Sorry for the slow response ive only just noticed the emails!!! I have had to cancel my booking for the 5th as my mates decided to have his stag doo that day so going paintballing then clubbing etc etc in Nottingham. I didnt get a response from anyone on the jap forum, excpet one guy moaning that bookatrack will take non jap cars off the booking forms!!! Somehow i dont think they will... Ive noticed theres a lot of 200sx going, must be the jap drift club so expect them sideways at every opportunity. As for my gtir, its now sold but was an absolute animal, cost thousands to build but was far to heavy on tyres, gearboxes and fuel on track days!!!! Produced 384bhp at 1.15 bar boost, engine built for max 2 bar....... Ive booked in at cadwell on the 28th of march though with javelin. adrian Quote
