Norman Verona Posted July 23, 2012 Share Posted July 23, 2012 Second day of clear blue skies and hot sun. I've been to the decheterie (rubbish dump) and got rid of a lot of ... well rubbish. Planning on doing bits and pieces today, going for a blat this afternoon. Tomorrow we're going to Ikea in Nantes to get new crockery and cutlery for the gites. I must admit that I was never a sun worshiper, we never had beach holidays when the kids were smaller. We used to rent houses in the countryside and go out every day. Place like the Lakes, Cornwall, Norfolk broads (on a boat) However now I love sitting or working out in the sun. My arthritis is much better when it's dry and sunny.
